Main Responsibilities
Client and partner recruitment:
• Recruit, evaluate and onboard high-potential agribusiness SMEs that meet KASI’s investment and CEED’s technical assistance objectives for SMEs;
• Conduct sales and marketing activities to secure buy-in from strategic partners– including, private and public sector partners, financial institutions, professional business councils/ associations, and other stakeholders - to support program activities as service providers, trainers, consultants, speakers, panellists, mentors, sponsors or partners;

Training:
• Coordinate monthly business trainings and networking events for SMEs working with CEED in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Arusha regions
• Develop trust-based relationships with lead-entrepreneurs in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Arusha region for buy-in and support of CEED activities with local SMEs in recruitment activities; delivery of trainings; and resource contributions
• Develop and manage relationships with government, business associations, financiers, medium and large businesses and development agencies to source influential speakers for CEED events, potential sponsors and partnerships
• Recruit, train and support training partners (service providers, mentors, technical experts and others) to contextualize trainings and presentations to the needs of SME entrepreneurs supported by the program;

Technical Assistance:
• Analyze financial information, such as statements, management accounts and cash flow statements to assess quality of deliverables by service providers as well as to determine investment feasibility of SME agribusiness clients;
• Identify, evaluate and match client’s technical assistance needs (financial, access to market, business planning etc.) with vetted service providers with the relevant expertise to support the clients;
• Provide business support and training to client enterprises on issues related to business planning, strategy, market and supply chain access and analysis, operational optimization.
• Conduct due diligence and quality management on deliverables and outputs provided by external contractors.
• Analyze financial information, such as statements, management accounts and cash flow statements to assess quality of deliverables by service providers as well as to determine investment feasibility of SME agribusiness clients;
• Identify, evaluate and match client’s technical assistance needs (financial, access to market, business planning etc.) with vetted service providers with the relevant expertise to support the clients;

• In collaboration with the M&E Officer, utilize relevant monitoring tools to collect data and measure the training program’s effectiveness and success periodically;
• Ensure quality delivery of training to target beneficiaries, including co-facilitation with trainers, coaching and feedback to trainers.

IT Skills Experience
Desired Qualifications:
• University degree in Management, Marketing or related fields;
• 4+ years’ experiences in training, business consulting, finance/ investment with proven track record of developing and/or evaluating complex client business plans and trainings;
• Proven ability to deliver training programs, facilitate events and mentor trainers for quality training delivery;
• Strong sales and marketing skills with ability to create effective and constructive working relationships with SMEs and partners in the private and public sectors;
• Excellent communicator and competent in training delivery in business, management and entrepreneurship
• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities and work cooperatively to build networks and satisfy needs of internal and external stakeholders.
